OLTS-photos-6

Join us on a guided ascent on one or more of Colorado's most spectacular 14,000' peaks during the heart of summer in the Rockies. The Crestone Peaks* area offers access to four major 14,000' peaks (Crestone, Needle, Crestone Peak, Kit Carson, and Humboldt) as well as opportunities for training in alpine skills such as rock, snow, and ice climbing. Hiking and scrambling routes, as well as more technical roped ascents such as the Ellingwood Arete on the Crestone Needle, are available. Hiking or backpacking is usually required; other peaks such as Blanca Peak massif, other dates, and climbing sites are possible.

* Outdoor Leadership Training operates under a special use permit from the USDA Forest Service, San Carlos Ranger District.
